It was when my clients really wanted the darker, wider brows that I decided to revisit the Iron Oxide free cosmetic tattoo pigment department.  I’m so glad I did!  Non-Iron Oxide pigments require careful administering but stay beautifully true for many years. I have proved this with natural vegetable cosmetic tattoo pigments applied to myself, by myself,  many years ago.

Cosmetic tattoo, microblading, semi-permanent makeup etc. micropigmentation is known by, has literally leapt on to the market recently and with it some very poor work.  Gentle Cosmetic Tattoo frequently has to deal now with rectifying colour and design.  Correcting others mistakes, especially surprising colours such as mauve, coral, pink and green, has been concerning, besides poor design, or the over-familiar stencilled brow.

Iron oxide free pigments used here at Gentle Cosmetic Tattoo blend gorgeously to create custom brows at their best.  There have been no reports of adverse reactions, and they are MRI safe.  Most of all, dark brows and eyes, stay dark and dramatic as requested.

Get ready for a happy, merry Christmas!

Hello there,

I’ve been using Natural Vegetable Pigments, especially for brows, since coming back from the Balkans (but I digress).  I”m excited because colour does hold well, and looks lovely and natural. Most of all, my clients are happy. Of course, I need to check this out personally for some time yet but the pigments are first class.  In some circumstances, I’m also using iron oxides. Why the change? Recently, micro-blading or semi-permanent make-up has gone viral as a career choice. Not everyone is ideally suited to this vocation, and not everyone knows how to style brows, liner, or lips, to start. Worse though, is when colour isn’t well matched it can result in strange, faded results.  I do see a lot of the above. Correction required work from elsewhere has taken up a lot of time;  is not fast nor easy to do, especially with unreasonably high expectations from already disappointed people. Non-iron oxide pigments over the years, have shown me natural fade (no weird colours) and last longer. These are big pluses in anyone’s language. They are known internationally too and I”m loving the results.

Come in and try them out, and if you bring in a new client for micr0-blading, your second appointment is FREE till further notice.  Xmas is all but here, see you soon.

P.S  the women in the Balkans had beautiful hair and brows and eye-lashes. I saw only one cosmetic tattoo shop and no fake lashes!

Making choices as to what goes into our bodies and skin should be as natural as breathing. It’s up to us as individuals to inquire what is the best solution regarding permanent colour solutions.

Naturally we want to feel confident that the pigment inks implanted into our skin are safe and will stay true to colour after the initial cosmetic tattoo process.

The good news is that natural vegetable pigments are iron oxide free. These gorgeous non iron oxide pigments are equal in colour retention to regular pigments, and don’t change colour even after years.

Look after your cosmetic tattoo by using sun screen and understand that exfoliating substances directly on any cosmetically tattooed areas will help remove pigment eventually. Care and common sense practised after the great permanent makeup decision is the answer!

Getting back to iron oxides, most of us have heard of the common problem of browns changing to orange or mauves, and black to blues even after six months. Iron Oxides deteriorate when subjected to UV Rays so have a tendency to discolour. Natural inks don’t create these ‘unusual’ colour hues, as they do not contain metal substances.

Ask me about natural vegetable inks that require little if any touch up procedures later, and won’t cause unnecessary bafflement through colour change!
