Redheads and Blonds!
The last few weeks I’ve had quite a few blonds and redheads visiting. Winter has welcomed brighter and warmer hues here in Queensland.
It is fun choosing brow and eyeliner pigments for these ladies as they are rightly so, nervous of what shades are available to them of which are numerous. Our number one request at Gentle Cosmetic Tattoo is still the natural look for brows and lips. 99% of our brow work is cosmetically tattooed hair-strokes, although a few of you want a combination of strokes and a ‘background’ of shading which results in a more dressed or polished look. This decision doesn’t have to be made immediately as after the first healing one can see whether one or the other is the answer.
Other decisions come in. Some reds, look best with ash brows and some with a hint or more warmth. Lips can be so right with a wisp of pink or lined in a warm pink/brown. With the right colour and shape, you ladies look so, so much…happier!
It’s fairly easy for one to get too comfortable after having new brows etched in. Please keep everything tidy underneath the design. In lots of cases, cosmetically tattooed brows are sought after because poor eyesight make them near impossible to work with and specs sometimes don’t make the job easier. Interestingly though, the major reason that cosmetic tattoo is so popular is the absence of brows!
It is appreciated that you come in for a refresh of your tattoo makeup. Our prices are so reasonable that there’s no excuse for colour and shape not being up to the minute. As I have always said, micropigmentation fades and I would never tell you how long your brows will stay pristine. It is a nice opportunity to change the shape and colour of your brows, lips and liner with changes that you have deliberately or inadvertently made for yourself.
It’s also easy to remember you would have come in for your original cosmetically tattooed brows a year or so previous to your refresher/s.
Do feel free to call to receive some genuine advice or come in for a free consultation on semi-permanent makeup.
Already September! Where has the year gone!
Cheers and we’re looking forward to seeing you.
